Welcome to Jo’s Clan and State Latch Hook Pillow Top Tartan Patterns
Jo’s Tartan Patterns offers unparalleled, one of a kind, Clan Tartan Patterns and the little known U.S. state tartans. Each tartan has been researched and hand-charted (not machine reproductions like some designs) to bring you, the experienced latch hooker, the most authentic tartan pattern in color and appearance.
These Scottish clan tartan latch hook pillow patterns employ a uniquely distinctive approach, using knitting/crochet yarn, to give you the appearance of a soft, plush tartan. The tartan pattern uses regular 3.75 squares-to-the-inch latch hook canvas. Recommended canvas size is 20”x20”. The finished pillow top is 16”x16” (60 squares x 60 squares). If a smaller pillow top is desired, an area approximately 11”x11” (40 squares x 40 squares) is marked on the pattern.

If you do not find your clan name, or if you don’t know to which clan your family name belongs, send me an e-mail using the Contact Form to the right. I will research the name and, if possible, add the clan name products to the website.
Delivery Options
Two delivery options are available to receive your tartan pattern. Please note that all sales are final; there are no refunds or returns.
Pattern Only – $4.00, no shipping and handling charges
This is the quickest, easiest, and least expensive delivery option. The pattern will be downloaded immediately in PDF format. Included is a fully-charted downloadable pattern, a brief history of the clan or state tartan, specific instructions for completing the project, and several reference listings for your information. Be sure to have Adobe Reader downloaded first – it is free. With this option, you purchase your own yarn and canvas.
Kit – $45.00, plus $15.00 shipping and handling
With this delivery option, you will receive, by regular mail, the tartan pattern and accompanying documentation, plus sufficient yarn and canvas required to work on the project. No latch hook is provided. An Add to Cart button is provided on the product page to request this option. You may download the pattern (be sure to download Adobe Reader first) or wait for the kit, which will be mailed to you within 4 weeks.
